Divergent by Veronica Roth

In a future Chicago, sixteen-year-old Beatrice Prior must choose among five predetermined factions to define her identity for the rest of her life, a decision made more difficult when she discovers that she is an anomaly who does not fit into any one group, and that the society she lives in is not perfect after all.
This book was a favorite of the year, if not of all time! There was action starting with the beginning and didn't let loose until the last page. Tris is easily one of my favorite female heroines, I loved how she was strong but still appreciated a good looking boy. :P

Speaking of good looking boys, Four was amazing. I loved finding out the meaning of his name and his personality was just scrumptious. I loved that the relationship between them was so delicate and slow building and they didn't just leap head first into it. The writing was so intense and the action was non-stop and heartbreaking.

OMG the ending? Incredible. I'm salivating for Insurgent which comes out in May!
